Federal agents stormed the McDuffie County EMS Building on Wednesday.
That building is located old University McDuffie Hospital on West Hill Street in Thomson.
U.S. Department of Homeland Security investigators have confirmed that special agents from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) served a search warrant there on Wednesday.
There have been no arrests made or charges filed at this time, but the investigation is ongoing.
ICE is in charge of investigating incidents regarding the nation’s border, economy, transportation, and infrastructure.
