Fort Gordon’s bus route is halfway through its trial run.
Commissioners approved the 150 thousand dollar service on a sixth month trial basis to determine if there was interest.
But riders we talked say they would have like to see that money put into other areas of the bus system.
“The military people they don’t ride it they got cars and stuff and they got their own little city out there it’s good for access to Augusta but they don’t use it like that, said bus rider Stanley McGruder.
“Have you ever ridden it,?”
“No and I don’t ever want to ride it,” he said.
