It’s a sound that is undeniable…the Ford Mustang.

Since the first Mustang was introduced, in 1964, hundreds of thousands of people call it their dream car.

Friday and Saturday, Mustangs from all over the country will be at the Columbia County Exhibition Center in Grovetown, Georgia for the Gateway Southern Stampede National Show, which is being on by the CSRA Mustang Club.

“Ownership is not essential, enthusiasm is. Most of our members own Mustangs or classic Fords and we have 105 active members. It’s a cross section of new and late models. My Mustang is a 2015 limited Mustang,” says CSRA Mustang Club member Steve Prewitt.

The Gateway Southern Stampede National Show will host many different years of Mustangs, some being tricked out, to classic Mustangs, to your everyday Mustang.

The CSRA Mustang Club was founded in the 1980’s and many members will be on hand to share their knowledge and love for this muscle car and will also be judging many of the cars that will be on display.

“We have judges, we have certified and Gold Car judges from all over the country that attend the events and will have at least 70-80 judges to help judge the cars, on Saturday,” says Prewitt.

The CSRA Mustang Club has donated more than $80,000 over the years to different charities and it’s really a family-oriented event that’s free and open to the public. From the Shelby’s, Cobra’s, Mach 1’s, and GT’s, if you love Mustangs, the Gateway Southern Stampede is the place for you this weekend!

“They can experience the excitement, they can make lots of new friends, they can see some unique autos that we’ll have this weekend…everything from classics, to the latest models. Mustang is a worldwide icon, everybody recognizes a Mustang! Prewitt adds.

The Gateway Southern Stampede Mustang Show is a Mustang Club Of America national show. The show is also sponsored by the CSRA Mustang Club. Proceeds benefit the Rebecca Erryn Moon Foundation.

The show will be held Saturday and Sunday at the Columbia County Exhibition Center, which is located at 212 Partnership Drive, in Grovetown, Georgia.
